The transition to post-secondary education, particularly when it requires living in an urban environment, brings both opportunities and challenges. Pre-Collegiate Camp offers immersive, fun experiences that show participants what life can be like as a post-secondary student.

About the Pre-Collegiate Program

Pre-Collegiate Camp provides Indigenous youth in grades 10-12 with engaging and interactive programs in STEAM learning (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) to explore topics they’re interested in, discover educational pathways, and build relationships with peers and industry professionals. The program incorporates activities to help develop skills in professional development and experiences such as lab tours, special presentations, and field trips.

There is no charge for those selected to be a part of this program. All accommodations including travel, meals and hotel are covered for participants.

Pre-Collegiate Camp is supported by Natural Science and Engineering Research of Canada (NSERC), Ulnooweg Indigenous Communities Foundation, and Dalhousie University.
