The Opportunity:
A new paid-educational learning experience is now open for registration at our NEW Indigenous FabLab located in Fredericton, NB. In collaboration with First Peoples Innovation Centre and the Joint Economic Development Initiative (JEDI), Indigenous FabLab will offer a 4-month paid training program for Indigenous youth between 15-30 who will learn foundational skills in digital technology and fabrication. In addition, they will explore a wide range of skills in a hands-on learning environment that sparks curiosity and creativity through the use of both cultural and digital fabrication resources.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- The program is for Indigenous Youth
- Ages 15-30 years old
- Not currently working or in school
INCLUDED:
- 4-month paid training program
- 1 month paid internship
- 6 hours per day ($13.75 per hour)
- 5 days per week
